CROATIA | DENMARK | NORWAY
Croatia, Denmark and Norway have long been leaders in handball, cultivating a unique handball culture that is embedded in the daily lives of all citizens. From young to old, handball is at the heart of the countries and our hearts are beating stronger and stronger as we prepare to host the IHF World Championship together.
Our vision
The decision of a joint organization is based on a strong wish to set new standards for a Men’s World Championship. We strongly believe that our experience as hosts of international
championships and especially our long-lasting traditions of men’s handball joined in one World Championship will increase the quality and the possibilities.
Participants, media, partners and spectators will experience a World Championship of new dimensions regarding full arenas, new market opportunities, new ideas and not least of the celebration of handball.
With this strong foundation and bearing in mind the experience of our three federations, we can secure the perfect conditions for all teams and officials with regards to board, accommodation, training, transport and all other areas. All requests will be complied and handled with consideration and respect. All aspects to a successful World Championship have been well considered and are introduced in our event concept.
